Turkey Burgers

Turkey Burgers – Gluten Free

Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkeyturkey_burgers

1/4 green bell pepper
1/4 red bell pepper
1/2 onion
1/2 carrot
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. paprika
salt & pepper to flavor
1 tbsp. tomato paste
1 egg
1 cup bread crumbs – we use gluten free

Directions:
Mince all veggies (peppers, onion, carrot) – I use a food processor to save on time & to ensure my veggies are very fine.

Combine ALL ingredients into bowl & mix together well into meat. Once everything is mixed into meat well, form 4 oz. patties & place onto grill, cooking each side around 8-10 min per side. You’ll want to make sure you cook them through since you’re using turkey meat. This recipe will make 6-8 burgers depending how big or small you make the patties. I’ll cook half with & without cheese & I use sharp, white cheddar cheese. You can serve these as is or with on a bun – we eat them as is, no bun.
